Nat & John booked us almost a year ago and it was so much fun to see them again after waiting all of this time! Obviously, we wanted to get some great photos taken for this amazing couple, but one of the things that Nat specifically wanted was some kind of flower field in the background. We did shoot in Downtown Fullerton, but ended up walking off on to some random trail within a park and found this amazing piece of land with bloomed mustard flowers all about five feet tall...we quickly took advantage on this small found treasure! 
The funny thing about this image is that John & Anatta were telling me about John getting his braces off before the wedding and how he was soooooo excited. We decided to embrace the fact that he still had his braces on for the engagement session, I love this photo because of it!
This is my favorite shot of the day, I love seeing Nat and John sort of being swallowed up in all of the flowers!
What a fun afternoon! So glad to be working with Nat and John! Wedding to follow this summer!

It was great meeting Connie & Chris in Downtown LA for their engagement session. There is something so fun about shooting in the city with the hustle and bustle of it all! I loved watching Connie & Chris interact, especially after hearing their story about how they met online.
Here's my favorite shot of the day!

First of all, something has to be said about the awesome response we've had from everyone about our new branding...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! It really has been sweet reading everyone's comments and uplifting words of praise, we are so thankful to have people surrounding us to cheer us on everyday!
This is our good friend Summer Bellessa.
She is the editor for Eliza and we were just informed that they have done a featured article on Amelia on their homepage.
The most recent session that we shot for Eliza Magazine was for a pregnancy spread, here is one of our favorite images from the grouping:

Debuting the new face of Amelia Lyon Photography!!!!
We really have waited such a long time for this! After many late nights, and countless meetings with our AMAZING designer (Scott Windes) we found our new look! With a new website (powered by Livebooks), a new blog, and a couple of other goodies we will have the much needed touch to our business!
Here a few tangible things we just got back from our printer, Seraph Stationary. Justin went to high school with Ben, the owner of Seraph, and he did amazing work. I think it's safe to say that we LOVE our new business cards and other fun goodies!

A HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing designer who helped us with this totally rad new look, Scott Windes you are are the BEST! You took our vision and made it a reality!
If anyone out there is looking for a great designer we would HIGHLY recommend him and would be glad to pass on his info!

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, Stacey and Andrew made it to the debut of our new blog! They were a super fun couple to work with. They both live out of state so it took a ton of emailing and playing phone tag to arrange their engagement sitting. I think the wait was well worth the results, it was a beautiful day in Downtown Fullerton and Stacey and Andrew looked HOT!
See you guys in a few weeks at the wedding!
