Here's my favorite shot of the day...

I caught this last shot of them as I was walking away, it feels sort of peaceful to me.

Thank you to Jen's brother Rob for hiring me, this really was a great experience and wonderful afternoon! I loved shooting something a little out of the "norm"!

I'm not going to lie, it was super crazy packed that day and I was a little nervous that it would be hard finding creative backdrops without millions of people in my frame. Luckily, we were able to find a few private and colorful walls to shoot against.

And lastly, my favorite shot of the day! Love the shadows over their heads!

We loved going to Chicago and even more loved capturing Jeannette and Glen in the big city! A big thanks to them for flying us out there!

The first post to play catch-up on is from our mini vacation a few weeks ago up in Idyllwild with the Kaiser family. Nate's parents own this sweet little cabin there and this was our second time staying in it. Life has definitely changed since our first visit there over almost a year and a half ago, we've added two more kids to the mix! We had a full house, made pasta, stayed up late watching Curb your Enthusiasm, ate cookies, played at the park, and lastly (but certainly not least) we enjoyed a HUGE plate of Nate's famous french toast mountains!

When we first arrived Nate had already set up a little nature office for himself...

Since Amy + Victor had a "school" themed wedding, Victor sent his groomsmen over with a gift for Amy. It was a 3ft trophy! Amazing!

Amy + Victor really wanted to attend their cocktail hour, for reasons which you will soon see, so they decided to break the rules a bit and see each other before the ceremony. It's always awesome when couples decide to do this, as it gives them a special moment alone, before all the fun begins.

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all took place at the Claremont Colleges. We have shot here many times before, but have never seen it transformed so beautifully for a wedding!

And of course, Wally was in attendance at the wedding! She was very excited for her Mommy and Daddy to get married! PS, Wally also makes a cameo on our new website's homepage.

They seriously had one of the most entertaining cocktail hours ever! Complete with a Tarot card reader, Martini glass mashed potato bar, Apple Martini bar, Polaroid picture booth in front of a chalkboard, and awesome hors d'oeuvres!

Chris Albanese of Argyle Events was the coordinator extraordinaire that made sure every detail was perfect! He did an amazing job, and we can't wait to work with him again in the future!

This reception came complete with a Big Band!

Just when we thought the night was about to wind down, all of the guests were ushered into the Auditorium of Big Bridges where Amy + Victor greeted their friends and family with an amazing choreographed dance on the stage. The guests continued to party on, with beats from Amy + Victor's High School years. It definitely took us back to our High School days!

And, YES, ladies and gentlemen, Amy + Victor ended the night with a bang by having an In-N-Out truck waiting outside with parting burgers for their guests!

The funny thing about this image is that John & Anatta were telling me about John getting his braces off before the wedding and how he was soooooo excited. We decided to embrace the fact that he still had his braces on for the engagement session, I love this photo because of it!

This is my favorite shot of the day, I love seeing Nat and John sort of being swallowed up in all of the flowers!

What a fun afternoon! So glad to be working with Nat and John! Wedding to follow this summer!
