I went out of town for a few days this last week and Justin was left with our boys at home. I got back to see all of the fun photos he took with them and I especially LOVED these photos he took with Hudson and Sloan in cowboys hats (thanks to Lyndzee for the fun gift!).

We love the Anderton family and have been friends with them ever since we met them seven years prior at church. When they first contacted us about shooting a surprise session with the children for their dad my first thought was how fun it would be to see them again! We shot the session at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel. It was slightly comical when we ran into them that following weekend during a wedding we were shooting as they continued their stay there in Laguna Niguel. The Anderton children were a delight to spend the afternoon with, so photogenic and even more well behaved!

Maria + Alvin were married on August 1st. We had such a fun weekend at their wedding in San Francisco. Not only was it an awesome wedding, but Justin and I were celebrating our 7 year anniversary the very next day! Maria + Alvin's wedding was a perfect excuse to get away to one of our favorite cities, be a part of a wedding, and remember how important marriage is!

Something about the groomsmen shot in the alley is so badass! Also the dance shot on the left above the cookies is my fave! That thing belongs on a wall for sure!
